Snug Harbor Insurance is an independent insurance brokerage. This policy covers snugharborinsurance.com and the forms on it. It does not cover the separate privacy notice you receive as a customer when you buy a policy through us, which is required under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and is given to you at the point of sale.
We collect only what we need to answer you and to shop insurance on your behalf. Through this website, that means:
The tools on this site — the deductible calculator, the premium range estimator, the state plan exit checker — run entirely in your browser. What you type into them is not sent to us and is not stored anywhere.
We do not ask for a Social Security number, driver's license number, date of birth or payment details through this website. Those are collected, when they are needed at all, directly by the carrier during an application.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not trade, rent or otherwise pass your details to lead brokers or to anyone who wants to market to you.
This site uses cookies that are necessary for it to work, and may use standard analytics to count page views. We do not run advertising or retargeting pixels on this site.
Because there is still no common industry standard for how a website should respond to a Do Not Track browser signal, this site does not respond to Do Not Track signals. If that changes, we will update this policy. Third parties may collect information about your online activities over time and across other websites, but not through this one.

Some information we are obliged to retain. As a licensed insurance producer we keep records of policies placed and of the advice given, for the periods our state regulators require. We will tell you plainly if that is the reason something cannot be deleted.
Much of the information a brokerage holds about you is nonpublic personal information under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, and is governed by that law and by state insurance regulation rather than by the California Consumer Privacy Act. Where the CCPA does apply to information we hold, we honour the rights it gives you — to know, to correct, to delete, and to opt out of sale or sharing — and as stated above we do not sell or share personal information at all. We keep your information for as long as we are servicing you and for as long afterwards as our record-keeping obligations require. Client and policy data is held in our agency management system under access controls. No system is perfect, and we will not pretend otherwise — but we do not hold payment card details or Social Security numbers on this website.
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
If we change this policy materially, we will post the revised version here with a new effective date, and — where the change affects information we already hold about you — we will tell existing clients directly by email.
